Inspired by the works of Jim Henson, Pernicious is a puppet-based horror musical short film script where slowly losing your mind is the norm. I have always been fascinated by how horror can take innocence and twist it, so when I began writing Pernicious, I wanted to twist the puppets that inspired me to create in the first place.

Pernicious follows a protagonist who is in an unstable relationship as his wife is losing her grip on reality, so much so that she knocks out our main character and he is left searching the deep dreamscape of his mind for answers for how things could have gotten so rotten.
